While it's easy to keep our focus on funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers and Child Care Development Funds, this year Congress is looking at reauthorizing several laws that can have a serious impact on afterschool programs around the country. Right now the most important reauthorizations for the afterschool field to know about are Higher Education Act and the Child Nutrition Act.
