This webinar will discuss how summer learning programs can increase participation in the Summer Food Service Program.  Kate Sims, a child nutrition policy analyst from FRAC, will discuss the findings from their latest report on participation in the Summer Food Service Program. Susan Gamble, director of the West Virginia Statewide Afterschool Network, will discuss how a nationally recognized summer learning program in her state has increased participation in the Summer Food Service Program by working with local partners. 

As part of the Afterschool for All Challenge, we’re asking afterschool advocates from around the country to help us achieve our goal of setting up meetings with all 435 congressional district offices on May 22, 2014. With so many people using these platforms, social media can be an effective tool for raising awareness about your afterschool program and building support for its mission.
