President Trump’s budget proposal for FY 2019, released in February, calls for the complete elimination of 21^st Century Community Learning Center funding. These funds currently support nearly 10,000 local afterschool and summer programs serving nearly 2 million children all across the nation. The budget proposal also calls for massive cuts to a wide array of other federal funding streams that go to afterschool programs. What does this mean for your program? Your community?
