Calling All Afterschool Artists!

Hey afterschool artists: we need your help! A new year means it’s time for the 2011 Lights On Afterschool poster art contest.  Read the guidelines and have your afterschool programs submit art to us today.

Interacting with afterschool programs is one of the best parts of this job.  What’s even better? Seeing all of the amazing art made by the many talented artists in afterschool programs all over the country!

Last year we went through hundreds of submissions from afterschool programs from coast to coast for the 2010 Lights On Afterschool poster art contest.  We had such great contributions and the decisions were tough. 

But since we’ve gotten more and more art every year, we couldn’t keep it all to ourselves. So we put it in Poster Art Galleries so everyone could enjoy it.  Check out the winners from 2009 and 2010 then check out the 2010 online gallery of poster art submissions.

And whether your program has or hasn’t contributed to the contest in the past, keep the art coming we love to see it each and every year.
